Edit Google Drive Preferences when running as a service

Many others have documented how to run Google Drive as a service, but what if you need to edit Google Drive Preferences when it’s running as a service?  Here is the procedure:

1. Stop GoogleDrive service
2. Export key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\GoogleDrive (or whatever you named it)
3. After export, delete that key from Registry
4. From Start menu, Start GoogleDrive
5. Wait for tray icon to appear, then edit Preferences as desired
6. From Task Manager, kill both googledrive services
7. Import the Registry key you exported earlier
8. Start GoogleDrive service
